Summary

Over 50 years have passed since I returned from Vietnam. My last assignment was as a Battalion chaplains assistant for chaplain Capt. William Harrison. Because of the Internet searching for people has gotten easier and I had better traction than when I first began my search. One day I entered his name in the Google search and came up with a hit. The Vacaville reporter did a story on him titled, former Army chaplain Bill Harrison served in Vietnam. When I looked at the article and his face I had found chaplain Harrison. I tried the newspaper and left messages. I then tried the memory care facility he was staying in. That’s when I got the news, chaplain Harrison passed away two weeks ago.
