Sometimes we think our hard work and dedication go unnoticed. Well Rudy Quinones noticed, appreciated it, and did something about it to show his thanks for this special employee that was also a Vietnam Veteran!
Albert Brigas has spent the last 13 years working to pay off his mortgage before he retires. But thanks to his boss, the Vietnam veteran’s dream came true one year early.
Brigas works as a mechanic at the Renown Auto Restoration in Texas. According to the owner Rudy Quinones, the 69-year-old’s loyalty and determination was the reason he chose to pay off his mortgage. Rudy gifted him with a $5,000 check, which he immediately took to the bank to pay off the debt. Now he and his wife can rest easy and officially enjoy their retirement.
“To give them something they’ve been yearning for their whole lives. It’s incredible.” Rudy said.
